• Development phase

The research and development stage of mannequins is an extremely important and complex process that requires continuous innovation and following international trends. As a factory focusing on R&D, we have invested a lot of money and time in this stage.

We develop multiple new series every year and continue long-term research and development to meet market demand. We classify series according to different styles and different races.

• Market research 

We closely follow the trends of international brands and conduct market research every month to understand the latest fashion trends. We collect popular poses of international models and conduct a lot of research and model development. Often, in the early stages of designing a group of human models, we need to take tens of thousands of photos, select them, and form a combination. These research data and model development provide us with valuable references and inspiration, helping us better grasp the pulse of fashion and meet customer needs.

• R&D Design

We constantly try to innovate and explore new manufacturing processes and materials to enhance the quality and appearance of our mannequins. We pay attention to details, strive for excellence, and strive to make each mannequin more perfect to meet our customers’ needs for quality and beauty.

We provide customized services for some high-end clothing brands. When they need to display certain details of new products and customize mannequins that match the brand’s tone, they need our R&D team to develop and customize them.

Customization process:

• R&D Program

Customers provide information such as clothing style, version, age positioning, related competitive products, space image, reference brands, photos, etc.

Our R&D team includes mannequin designers, fashion consultants, display specialists, etc. Will provide customers with professional research and development advice. How the mannequin conveys the clothing brand, how to reflect the style, texture and workmanship of the clothes all require the design of a professional R&D team. Make a research and development plan based on the customer’s needs combined with global model trends (top brands), and further discuss the styling combination and process details.

• Hand-painted creations 

The designer creates hand-painted works according to the customer’s requirements. At this stage, the designer needs to integrate the customer’s clothing style and brand image into the dynamics and expressions of the It requires a very experienced designer to design this. We will provide multiple options for customers to choose from.

• 3d model making

High precision: scanning of real models

After the client has confirmed the hand-painted draft, a real-life model that matches the style is invited to perform a high-precision scan. Multi-angle photography and 3D modeling are performed by the artist to make adjustments and creations.

After the model is built, discuss and modify the details with the customer to confirm the plan. Carry out sample 3D printing.
After the customer confirms the sample, the 1:1 model printing begins.

• Re-moulding

After the mannequin is 3D printed, the next mold turning process is a crucial step in the production process. In order to ensure the quality and appearance of the model, turning the model requires a series of precise processes and the selection of appropriate materials.

• Mold making materials:

Silicone is one of the commonly used mold turning materials. Because of its good softness and high temperature resistance, it is suitable for making molds with complex shapes.

• Mold making process:

a. Apply a separating agent: Apply a layer of separating agent on the surface of the mannequin to prevent the silicone from sticking to the surface of the model.

b. Pour silicone: Pour the prepared silicone onto the surface of the mannequin to ensure complete coverage, and wait for the silicone to solidify and form.

c. Peel off the mold: After the silicone is cured, peel it off from the mannequin to get an accurate replica of the mannequin.

• Mold post-processing process:

In the primary mold link, after workers in the primary mold workshop get the mold, they spray paint on the mold, then apply fiber, fix the mold, wait for curing and molding, and finally demould.

• Polishing the first mold

When the workers in the trimming workshop receive the first model, they will polish and fill the initial model, and then assemble the model, and each joint will be spray-painted to ensure that the seams are tight. This step is key to the smoothness of the mannequin. We are particularly strict in the polishing process.

Primer process

After the initial mold is completed, it arrives at the primer room and enters the primer spraying process.

Then the first step of quality inspection is carried out in the quality inspection workshop. Our workers check the quality of drying primer models. The model’s polishing process and defect treatment are carefully inspected multiple times.

• Spray painting process 

Entering the spraying process in the spray painting workshop, the master spray painter will spray paint on the surface, spray the entire surface and then dry it.

• Second quality inspection

Entering the second quality inspection link: our professional quality inspectors will conduct a comprehensive quality inspection on each model, inspect and repair model defects, and load-bearing tests.

• Packing and shipping

Make sure there are no defects in the inspection, and we will package and ship it.
